What kind of medical conditions can be solved at eTELEDOC?
You can turn to eTELEDOC for urgent or non-urgent medical situations that do not require the physical intervention of a doctor. For medical emergencies you must call 112! The eTELEDOC doctor can call the 112 service for you, if needed.
What options do I have for contacting a doctor?
You can contact a doctor by phone, video or email, using any electronic device – phone, tablet or laptop – with internet access.
What specialties do the eTELEDOC doctors at the Emergency Room have?
The eTELEDOC doctors who interact with you when you have a medical emergency are specialized in emergency medicine or family medicine.
By appointment, at eTELEDOC you can consult doctors in the following specialties: cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, diabetes and metabolic diseases, internal medicine, dermatology, pulmonology, medical recovery, plastic surgery, psychology, nutrition.
Why would I use eTELEDOC and not the ambulance service?
For medical emergencies you must call 112. At eTELEDOC you get in touch with a doctor instantly, anytime and anywhere, in just 20 seconds. No more waiting in line, making an appointment, or wondering if a doctor is available in your area. And if the intervention of an ambulance is necessary, the eTELEDOC doctor can contact the 112 Emergency Service for you and send the medical information.
Can eTELEDOC medical services be reimbursed by the State Health Insurance Service?
eTELEDOC has a contract with the National Health Insurance House for the specialties of family medicine and internal medicine.
Can I share a subscription with anyone, or does it have to be a family member?
With any of the “I’m flexible”, “I’m safe”, “I’m safe” or “Zero risk” service packages, you can share the benefits with up to 9 people of your choice. They can be family members, friends or colleagues from the office.
Can eTELEDOC send the medical report to the family doctor?
eTELEDOC does not have direct contact with your family doctor. However, you will find all the medical documents in your account so that you can send them to your doctor yourself.
Can prescriptions or certificates of sick leave be issued?
Yes, prescriptions can be issued. The certificates for sick leave are subsequently issued by the family doctor, based on the medical prescription/letter issued by the eTELEDOC doctor.
Who are the doctors who consult me?
The eTELEDOC medical team is made up of specialist doctors, accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians. Do you want to know more about our doctors? You can find details about the entire team here.
How is a consultation conducted?
Once you press the eTELEDOC button, you will be instantly connected to a doctor. He or she will assess your health and recommend treatment. If you need to see how a consultation looks like, watch the demo video here.
Can I choose the doctor who consults me?
Not. To ensure that you receive help as quickly as possible, you will be directed to the doctor who is available at the time of the call.
Can I get a medical report after an online consultation?
Yes, you have access, upon request, to the registration of the consultation in your account.
How long does a consultation take?
The duration of the consultation depends on your needs and will be determined by the doctor. If the consultation lasts more than 15 minutes, the additional time will be recorded as a second consultation. More details here.
